Shae’s research aims to unravel the potential links between nonbreeding habitat, feather moult, and migration in songbirds that overwinter in Jamaica. 

To answer this question Shae is applying tools such as radio tracking (the Motus Wildlife Tracking System) and stable isotope analysis of red blood cells.
